Kaalo has designed the Oasis. The Oasis is a hydrotherapy solution for canines and small animals. Used primarily for fitness training and weight control, the Oasis helps pets recover from an injury or ailment. The product is used in clinics, hospitals and homes.

User centric design for canines need a special level of empathy and care. The design challenge was very rewarding.
A thorough study of the hydrotherapy industry and manufacturer’s (H2O for Fitness) needs was conducted. The research helped us arrive at a design criteria following which we explored a spectrum of concepts. The Oasis was the fruit of our labor and the market loves it. This success led us to design a human version as well.

The Oasis is a paradigm shift in the way pet health is administered. Innovation and design led to true industry disruption. Understanding the nuances of pet behavior and designing a product that meets medical specifications was a challenge. The usability factors for both the human and the canine were considered to make the Oasis the success that it is. The customers love it and H2O for Fitness is the front runner in the industry.
