Our Global Team
Amrita co-founded Kaalo and has directed its operation since 1993. She has relentlessly pursued excellence and has created a culture of empathy and integrity in design. She is passionate about sustainability in design. She holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters in industrial design from the National Institute of Design.
Apsaran is an architect, industrial designer, strategist, and creative genius. As a world-class design leader and thinker, Apsaran’s skills serve a wide spectrum of global industries. He holds degrees from top universities, including the National Institute of Design and owns And Creative in Chennai, India.
Erica Negron is an industrial designer, artist, and photographer. Her natural curiosity and research prowess allows her to excel and drive for constant innovation. She earned her degree in Industrial Design at the University of Houston, and is passionate about sustainability and making products that improve people’s lives.
Since graduating from the Berklee College of Music, Rehaan has been managing media design, content creation and delivery for Kaalo’s AR, VR, Metaverse, animation and video projects. He is a professional songwriter, singer, saxophonist and performer and is a published solo artist on Spotify and Apple Music. He is also a fitness enthusiast and founder of RepsByBeat – a workout app. More about him on www.rehaan.co
Saravanan is an expert in all cutting edge CAD modeling packages. He is a researcher, designer, and developer all in one.
Rajib is a Harvard, MIT, and NID-trained design strategist who co-founded Kaalo in 1993. He is credited with transforming businesses and has established himself as an authority in design. His passion for meaningful and challenging design projects has been the force behind Kaalo’s successes.
Pranav has been our IT guru since 2009. He has extensive experience in designing, developing and deploying high-scale projects using cutting edge technology. As Kaalo’s CTO, Pranav leads the development team in delivering quality products, and he ensures timely delivery with various project management activities. Pranav owns Sufalam Technologies in Ahmedabad, India.
April is the teller of Kaalo’s stories, through web and social media content. She has developed content for a wide variety of industries, and her knowledge of digital platforms and ability to learn new ones quickly are true assets. She values the opportunity to help Kaalo express their messages of inclusivity and environmental sustainability. She holds a degree from the University of Texas.
Sharanya overlooks the design and development of Kaalo’s AR products. She is the gatekeeper for quality and leads the testing efforts. She has more than 5 years of experience specializing in Augmented Reality.
Bhumi has over 17 years of experience as an IT professional. She manages all security, operational, compliance and regulatory requirements for Kaalo. Kaalo’s SOC2 compliance is managed by Bhumi. Our clients trust us because of Bhumi’s team.
Devi manages all of Kaalo’s finance, administration and HR. She is the true backbone of the company and wears many hats including compliance support and AR development. Devi is an accomplished software engineer.
Grace is a creative and enthusiastic student of life. Trained at Baylor in Fine Arts, she is a lover of all things artistic. At Kaalo, Grace is a story teller, designer, and communicator both in social media as well as client demonstrations.
Karthick is a software engineer and developer working primarily on Augmented Reality solutions at Kaalo. He contributes in the design, development, testing and support of AR products.
Mohana is a bio-tech engineer supporting Kaalo in app development strategies along with policing the quality of the product experience. She is super sharp and very methodical in her approach.
Bhuvanesh is the mastermind engineer who keeps our designers honest. His knowledge and experience in product development and manufacturing processes delights our clients. Bhuvanesh is an expert in surface modeling and has all the popular CAD tools up his sleeves. He manages a team that ensures quality engineering.
Bala is a modeling genius with a strong understanding of industrial design and mechanical engineering. He has extensive knowledge of all the popular CAD programs and is able to transform concepts into reality.
Vinod joined us in 2010 and has been the “I got it” person of the company. Managing creative people’s needs is an art and Vinod has mastered that. His evergreen personality and perpetual smile is infectious.
Praveen is responsible for Kaalo’s frontline research and design explorations as well as execution of all deliverables in the product development process.
Yuvaraj has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering in Product Design, Yuvaraj works cross platforms with primary focus in industrial design and augmented reality projects.
Swamy is a design engineer leading projects in industrial design as well as augmented reality. He is CAD genius with modeling skills that impress.
Anisto is a CAD engineer who has recently joined the Kaalo team.
Aravind is an engineer who has recently joined the team.
Sidharth is a digital designer who has recently joined the Kaalo team.

The iNX cot is a game changer in the EMS industry. It is definitely one of our most meaningful designs.It took us 2 years of research and investigations, several ride-alongs in the ambulances, many interviews with EMTs and paramedics and countless iterations of designs to arrive at the iNX cot. It is a revolutionary design that has changed the EMS industry for the better.
Dell AR Assist
Our latest accomplishment in smart technology development. We are thrilled with its popularity in the tech world.Kaalo is honored to be chosen by Dell Technologies to conceive, design, develop, prototype and publish the Dell AR assistant. Being the first in the industry to successfully implement this smart AR technology, Dell announced it in Dell World, Las Vegas in May 2019.

Designing the Ui experiences for a spectrum of industries was challenging.Grayhill is a company that has 76 years of goodwill and brand fan following. For Kaalo to design the user interface and their next generation touch encoder was an absolute honor. We needed to strategically outline what works for their customers and then design an experience that is second to none.
Every day, I learn to become a better person, designer, manager, and agent of change. I surround myself with brilliant people and treasure relationships both personal and professional. I love design and have a ton of fun doing it.

Kaalo’s world of design transcends consulting. We engage in a wide range of design-related activities.
